Softball Recap: St. Martin Takes a Loss

St. Martin fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Biloxi on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 7-4 to the Indians. The Yellow Jackets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

St. Martin's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Biloxi, they moved to 11-13 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. St. Martin is set to square off against their familiar foe Ocean Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Biloxi will challenge rival Harrison Central at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
