Football Recap: Bosqueville Victorious

Bosqueville was handed a 31-point defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 28-27 victory over the Valley Mills Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Valley Mills still got an impressive performance from Jasean Johnson, who rushed for 237 yards and four TDs while picking up 10.3 yards per carry.

Bosqueville's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 10.0 points on average over those games. As for Valley Mills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
