Heritage won the last time they faced Hemet and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Patriots skirted past the Bulldogs 5-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Heritage let Wade Johnson and Brenton Jackson run wild. Johnson went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double, while Jackson went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. That's the most stolen bases Jackson has posted since back in February.

Heritage's record is now 17-8. As for Hemet, they dropped their record down to 9-14 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Heritage will take on Citrus Hill at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Patriots surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hemet, they will square off against Orange Vista at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs are facing the Coyotes at the right time seeing as the Coyotes are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
