Monroeville came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 38.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mapleton Mounties 56-8. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four games by 26 points or more so far this season.

Monroeville's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Mapleton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
