Football Recap: Percy Julian Takes a Loss

Percy Julian managed to slip by Stanhope Elmore the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Phoenix were outmatched by the Mustangs and fell 40-0. The Phoenix were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Percy Julian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Stanhope Elmore, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

Percy Julian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 56-22 defeat against Russell County on the 12th. As for Stanhope Elmore, they have also already played their next game, a 33-0 win against Park Crossing on the 12th.
