Basketball Game Preview: Inlet Grove Hurricanes vs. Lake Worth Trojans

The Inlet Grove Hurricanes will square off against the Lake Worth Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Inlet Grove's defense has only allowed 22.8 points per game this season, so Lake Worth's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Inlet Grove is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Somerset College Prep Academy 63-47 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Lake Worth came into Thursday's game having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, they made off with a 30-29 victory over Odyssey Charter School.

Lake Worth's win came from a few key players Inlet Grove will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jocilynne Sweeney, who posted nine points in addition to five assists and five boards. Sweeney is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Gracy Joseph was another key player, putting up five points and 11 rebounds.

Inlet Grove's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Lake Worth, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8.
