Softball Recap: Cuba/Spoon River Valley Takes a Loss

Cuba/Spoon River Valley and Rockridge squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Cuba/Spoon River Valley had to settle for second. They lost 14-2 to the Rockets.

Cuba/Spoon River Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kacie White, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Cuba/Spoon River Valley has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-11 record this season. As for Rockridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 24-5-1.
