Softball Recap: Rice Lake Warriors vs. Superior Spartans

Rice Lake extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 7-10 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of the Superior Spartans. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Warriors who fell 4-2 when the teams previously met back in May of 2018.

As for Superior, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games.
