While Carrollton put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Van Horn. Carrollton came out on top against Van Horn by a score of 3-0. The three-run effort marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Carrollton pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Van Horn, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Carrollton will venture away from home to challenge Lafayette County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Van Horn, they will welcome Center at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Center will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Van Horn surely won't give up without a fight.
