After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Evergreen, Bryan was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Edgerton Bulldogs 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Golden Bears as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Bryan was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 26-24, 23-25, 25-21, 15-10.

Bryan found their leader in sophomore Reese Ruffer, who had 14 digs. Miley Mason also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Bryan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted in their last six matchups.

Bryan's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Edgerton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Coming up, Bryan is taking a road trip to take on Patrick Henry at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Edgerton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Antwerp at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Bulldogs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
