Augusta Christian won the last time they faced Wardlaw Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions were the clear victors by a 19-3 margin over the Patriots. Considering the Lions have won four games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Augusta Christian and bumps their season record up to 6-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for Wardlaw Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Augusta Christian will venture away from home to challenge Ben Lippen at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wardlaw Academy, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ridge Spring-Monetta at 5:30 p.m. on the 14th.
