Volleyball Recap: Northeast Dubois Comes Up Short

Northeast Dubois was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sullivan Golden Arrows. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jeeps of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2015.

While Northeast Dubois was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Northeast Dubois still got an impressive performance from Adalie Kalb, who had 13 digs. Kalb has been hot, having posted 12 or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Northeast Dubois' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sullivan, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Northeast Dubois has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Washington on the 23rd. As for Sullivan, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Eastern Greene on the 23rd.
