Softball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Lewis Central's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Lewis Central came out on top against Ogden on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run first inning. The Titans took their matchup against the Bulldogs 11-6. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Emerson Coziahr got the start for Lewis Central and what a start it was: she tossed 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Coziahr has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Aubree Davis and Haylee Wilcox did most of the damage at the plate: Davis went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one triple, while Wilcox went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Wilcox has posted over her last 19 games. Millie Chadwick also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
