Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Weskan). They walked away with a 60-51 win over the Bethune Bobcats on Tuesday. This was payback for the Coyotes, who suffered a 43-22 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Despite the loss, Bethune had strong showings from Jamie Strobel, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards, and Samantha Robinson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Those 13 points gave Robinson a new career-high.

Weskan now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Bethune, they dropped their record down to 4-3 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Weskan has already played their next match (against Golden Plains), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Bethune wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 40-35 victory against Deer Trail on the 23rd.
