Basketball Recap: Doyline Comes Up Short

Doyline entered their game against Castor on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Panthers fell 75-66 to the Tigers. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Doyline's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Castor, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Doyline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-47 defeat against Grant on the 17th. As for Castor, they will take on Calvin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
