The Indian Valley Braves are taking a road trip to face off against the Beaver Local Beavers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Indian Valley will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Indian Valley can't be too worried about heading out to take on Beaver Local: they just beat Triway at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Braves walked away with a 5-2 win over the Titans on Friday.

Shelby Gossett made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Natalie Musser, who went 3-for-4 with five stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Bella Weaver, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Indian Valley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Beaver Local posted their closest victory since April 17th on Friday. They skirted past United 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Beavers.
Addie Hoppel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up seven Ks.
At the plate, Beaver Local saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ally Wright, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Beaver Local pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6.5 runs. As for Indian Valley, their record is now 13-10.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Indian Valley hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .319. However, it's not like Beaver Local struggles in that department as they've averaged .369. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Indian Valley took their victory against Beaver Local in their previous meeting back in May of 2019 by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
