Volleyball Recap: Eagle Valley Victorious

Eagle Valley's tournament run continued when they took on Highlands Ranch on Saturday. The Devils were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Falcons.

Riley Weatherred paced Eagle Valley's offense, picking up 23 kills. Weatherred got some help from Ansley Hopper and her 17 assists. Weatherred was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Eagle Valley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Highlands Ranch, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Eagle Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Palisade on the 2nd. As for Highlands Ranch, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Pueblo West on the 2nd.
