Soccer Game Preview: Coldwater vs. Anna

Coldwater hasn't had much luck against Anna recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Cavaliers are taking a road trip to take on the Rockets at 5:00 p.m. Coldwater will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Coldwater barely beat Allen East the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cavaliers put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 4-1 victory on Monday. Coldwater might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

Claire Bertke and Mia Byer scored all four of Coldwater's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Meanwhile, Anna came up short against Legacy Christian Academy on Thursday and fell 3-1.

Coldwater's win bumped their record up to 9-3-2. As for Anna, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4-1.

Coldwater couldn't quite get it done against Anna in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
