according to the Wichita Eagle.
Poor Bear Chandler averaged 14.2 points, 9.4 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots per game during the 2016-17 season at
Omaha Central (Omaha, Neb.). One of Cornhusker State's premier programs, the Eagles went 19-6 and reached the Class A quarterfinals.
Originally headed to New Mexico, Poor Bear Chandler elected to reconsider after Lobos head coach Craig Neal was dismissed in April.
The Nebraska big man is a below-the-rim bruiser who looks a bit like current Shocker Shaquille Morris.
