On Tuesday, Brandon faced Northwest Rankin in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Brandon Bulldogs fell just short of the Northwest Rankin Cougars by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, the Bulldogs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
