Football Game Preview: Williams Field Black Hawks vs. Pinnacle Pioneers + How To Watch

The Williams Field Black Hawks will take on the Pinnacle Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Williams Field has given up an average of 25.8 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Williams Field is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Brophy College Prep, who was ranked seventh at the time (Williams Field was ranked 15th). The Black Hawks had to suffer through a 56-28 loss at the hands of the Broncos. The Black Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Loss or not, Williams Field got some senior leadership from Q Skillings and Courshawn Hill. Skillings rushed for 79 yards and a pair of TDs, while Hill rushed for 100 yards and one score. Hill's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 100 rushing yards. Trey Smith got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Pinnacle earned a 28-21 win over Salpointe Catholic on Friday. The Pioneers pushed the score to 28-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lancers cut but never quite recovered from.

Pinnacle's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Williams Field, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.
