Baseball Game Preview: St. John's Northwestern Military Academy Lancers vs. Catholic Central Hilltoppers

The St. John's Northwestern Military Academy Lancers will square off against the Catholic Central Hilltoppers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Monday, St. John's Northwestern Military Academy came up short against Augustine Prep and fell 4-1.

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Damien Dax, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Catholic Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 4-0 to St. Francis.

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Catholic Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

St. John's Northwestern Military Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Catholic Central in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 7-6. Do the Lancers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Hilltoppers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
