Baseball Recap: Prosser Falls to River View in First Game of Season

Prosser unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 9-4 to the River View Panthers on Friday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 13 in a row.

Trevor Kreps was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 2-for-3. Jacob Rainer was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

River View's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prosser will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Kiona-Benton at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up.
