Sumter County skates past Lee County with ease

The Sumter County Panthers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They breezed by Lee County at home to the tune of 58-31. This was payback for Sumter County, who suffered a 50-31 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Jesstynie Scott was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 22 points. J'Niyah Edwards was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.

Sumter County's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Lee County, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
