Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Joseph). In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 63-62 victory over the Niles Vikings. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bears as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

St. Joseph's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Niles, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph has already played their next contest (against Portage Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Niles will welcome Otsego at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
