Volleyball Recap: Fishers' Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to 13

Fishers had already won 12 in a row and they went ahead and made it 13 on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Perry Meridian Falcons. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

While Fishers might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Perry Meridian scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 21-25, 25-19, 25-20.

Nate Fitzwater paced Fishers' offense, picking up 22 kills. Fitzwater got some help from JT Guler and his 38 assists. Davis Theobald controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Fishers pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Perry Meridian, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fishers will take on rival Brownsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Perry Meridian is set to challenge their familiar foe Martinsville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
