Softball Recap: Shannon Comes Up Short

Shannon fell victim to Itawamba Agricultural and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 15-0. The Red Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured ten losses in a row.

Shannon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Itawamba Agricultural, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Shannon will square off against rival Amory at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Itawamba Agricultural is set to challenge their familiar foe Ripley at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
