Softball Game Preview: Greer Yellow Jackets vs. Daniel Lions

Greer hasn't had much luck against Daniel recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Yellow Jackets will square off against the Lions at 6:00 p.m. The last three games Greer has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Thursday, Greer didn't have quite enough to beat Berea and fell 4-3.

Aubrey Merritt made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Daniel came up short against Blue Ridge on Tuesday, falling 13-3. The Lions have struggled against the Fighting Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Maria Bowers was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Greer's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14-2. As for Daniel, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.
