Soccer Game Preview: Station Camp vs. South-Doyle

Station Camp has won seven straight games at home, while South-Doyle has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Bison will host the Cherokees at 1:30 p.m. Station Camp knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully South-Doyle likes a good challenge.

Station Camp's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Franklin County with a sharp 9-0 win. Give Station Camp's defense some credit: that's the team's ninth straight shutout.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when South-Doyle and Fulton meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Cherokees walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Falcons.

South-Doyle has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-1-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 74 goals over those 16 contests. As for Station Camp, their victory bumped their record up to 18-2-2.
