Softball Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Comes Up Short

Bradley-Bourbonnais was the 3-1 winner over Yorkville when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Boilermakers fell just short of the Foxes by a score of 3-2 on Saturday.

Bradley-Bourbonnais saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Woolman, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bradley-Bourbonnais' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Yorkville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Bradley-Bourbonnais and Yorkville should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Boilermakers will challenge Homewood-Flossmoor at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (27 vs. 153). Meanwhile, Yorkville (ranked 63rd) will meet Plainfield Central (ranked 284th) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
