Softball Recap: Bibb County Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Bibb County's offense. They lost 17-0 to the American Christian Academy Patriots on Tuesday. Choctaws fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Patriots since on Tuesday.

Bibb County has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. The win snapped American Christian Academy's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-10 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bibb County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on American Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on April 1st. As for American Christian Academy, they will face off against West Blocton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
