Basketball Game Preview: Mohican Young Star Academy Gladiators vs. Ohio School for the Deaf Spartans

The Mohican Young Star Academy Gladiators are taking a road trip to take on the Ohio School for the Deaf Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mohican Young Star Academy is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 66-26, which was the final score in Mohican Young Star Academy's tilt against Cristo Rey two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Ohio School for the Deaf was able to grind out a solid victory over Lexington School for the Deaf on Sunday, taking the game 49-40.

Ohio School for the Deaf found their leader in sophomore Daniel Hager, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 13 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Hager a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charly'S Corea, who posted 13 points and four steals.

Ohio School for the Deaf has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-14 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points over those games. Mohican Young Star Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6.
