Basketball Recap: Donovan/St. Anne Takes a Loss

After flying high against South Newton last Wednesday, Donovan/St. Anne came back down to earth. Donovan/St. Anne lost 42-19 to the Momence Momence Athletics on Thursday. The contest marked Donovan/St. Anne's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Momence can attribute much of their success to A Miracle Johnson, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. Mya Roberson was another key player, putting up eight points and 13 rebounds.

Donovan/St. Anne has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Momence, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Donovan/St. Anne will head out to challenge Clifton Central at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Clifton Central will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Donovan/St. Anne surely won't give up without a fight. As for Momence, they will host Gardner-South Wilmington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
