Volleyball Recap: Oswego's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Oswego waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the St. Francis Spartans.

Peter Barnes paced Oswego's offense, picking up eight kills. Barnes got some help from Greyson Covay and his 20 assists. Covay also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jian Bacerdo, racking up two apiece.

Oswego's victory bumped their record up to 15-6. As for St. Francis, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Oswego wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Downers Grove North on the 26th. As for St. Francis, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Niles West on the 26th.
