Trinity entered their tilt with North Oldham on Friday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Mustangs an 8-0 shutout. Considering the Shamrocks have won 18 matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 25-3. As for North Oldham, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-6.
