Football Recap: Eldorado Comes Up Short

Eldorado played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Johnston City Indians, falling 36-6. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost five in a row.

Eldorado's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Johnston City, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eldorado will head out to square off against Hamilton County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be up against the Foxes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Johnston City, they will square off against Flora at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
