Basketball Recap: Lake Mead Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Lake Mead Christian Academy played a tough contest on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Lincoln County Lynx, falling 44-8. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 27-0.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Eris Andrews and Tenaya Brown, who each put up three points.

Lake Mead Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Lincoln County, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Mead Christian Academy will challenge Awaken Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Mead Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so Awaken Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Lincoln County, they will take on Adelson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
