Basketball Recap: William Byrd Comes Up Short

William Byrd lost against Lord Botetourt back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The William Byrd Terriers took a 65-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers.

William Byrd now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Lord Botetourt, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-9.

William Byrd will venture away from home to challenge Franklin County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. William Byrd is facing Franklin County at the right time seeing as Franklin County is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lord Botetourt, they will welcome North Cross at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. North Cross knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 16 matches -- so hopefully Lord Botetourt likes a good challenge.
