Football Recap: Marist Piles Up the Points Against Seaside + How To Watch

Marist's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Seaside Seagulls 35-7. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Seagulls: they've now won five in a row.

Deshawn Jackson had an outrageously good game as he threw for 255 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also punched in one TD on the ground.

Marist's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Seaside, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marist will take on Sweet Home at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. After each having a week off, Seaside and Scappoose will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. The Seagulls will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
