Basketball Recap: Glencliff Takes a Loss

Glencliff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 76-27 loss at the hands of the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights. The Colts were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-16.

Hume-Fogg's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Miles Rucker, who went 6 for 15 on his way to 18 points and five assists. Another player making a difference was Michael Nwoye, who posted 13 points along with seven boards and five assists.

Glencliff's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Hume-Fogg, they pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Glencliff will head out to take on Lawson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lawson will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Glencliff surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hume-Fogg, they will face off against Valor College Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hume-Fogg is facing Valor College Prep at the right time seeing as Valor College Prep is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
