Volleyball Recap: Northside Comes Up Short

Northside's tournament run continued when they took on Decatur on Saturday. The Rams fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 2-1. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Reagan Robertson paced Northside's offense, picking up seven kills. Robertson got some help from Aiden Sharbutt and her 17 assists. Bailee Horton and Claire Jones kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Northside's loss dropped their record down to 27-4. As for Decatur, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-20.

Northside has already played their next matchup (against Lawrence County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Decatur, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Chelsea on the 4th.
