            Softball Recap: Chaminade Eagles vs. Notre Dame (SO) Knights        
        
		
        
        
            Chaminade was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They took  an  8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Notre Dame (SO) Knights. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by  exactly three  runs.
 Chaminade saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Finley Suppan, who  went 1-for-2 with one  home run and three  RBI.
Chaminade's record now sits at 13-11-1. As for Notre Dame (SO), they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record  this season.
 Chaminade will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Louisville at 3:15  p.m.  on  the 29th. As for Notre Dame (SO), they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harvard-Westlake  at 3:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Knights have won seven straight at home, while the Wolverines won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
