Tompkins has gone 8-2 against Katy Taylor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tompkins Falcons will square off against the Katy Taylor Mustangs at 6:15 p.m. Tompkins has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

Tompkins is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Memorial just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.

Meanwhile, while Katy Taylor put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Paetow. Katy Taylor blew past Paetow 12-0. Considering the Mustangs have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Katy Taylor's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Tompkins, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.

Tompkins took their victory against Katy Taylor in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tompkins since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
