Basketball Game Preview: Suffern Mounties vs. Harrison Huskies

The Suffern Mounties will be taking part in a tournament against the Harrison Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Suffern is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Suffern proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 46) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Clarkstown North, sneaking past 37-34.

Meanwhile, Harrison might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Rye an easy 59-35 victory. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Garnets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Suffern, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Suffern skirted past Harrison 56-54 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Do the Mounties have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
