Scottsburg is a perfect 9-0 against Austin since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Scottsburg comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Scottsburg lost 22-4 to Madison on Wednesday.

Kelsey Pinto- Herrera made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Reese Lowery also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Providence hit Austin with a eight-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles came up short against the Pioneers, falling 13-3. The Eagles have struggled against the Pioneers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Scottsburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Austin, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Scottsburg took their win against Austin in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
