Volleyball Recap: Commerce Takes a Loss

Commerce lost against Springfield Renaissance back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Red Raiders took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Springfield Renaissance. The Red Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-19, 18-25, 25-21.

Commerce's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Springfield Renaissance, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Commerce will venture away from home to take on John J. Duggan Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. Springfield Renaissance has already played their next contest (against Sci-Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
