Volleyball Recap: Southwest's Winning Streak Snapped at Nine Games

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Southwest can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Winter Park Wildcats on Saturday. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Winter Park can attribute much of their success to Nicholas Baker, who had 12 digs and four assists.

Southwest moved to 25-6 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak. As for Winter Park, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Southwest nor Winter Park have any future games scheduled.
