Preview: Truman vs. Park Hill South
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Park Hill South. They will challenge Truman on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. The two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses for Park Hill South and six for Truman.
The match between Park Hill South and Liberty last Friday was not a total blowout, but with Park Hill South falling 6-26, it was darn close. Park Hill South were down by 6-26 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Truman took a serious blow against North Kansas City, falling 0-40. Truman were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-26.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
