It was a good run, but Lincoln Leadership Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Antietam Mountaineers.

While Lincoln Leadership Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11, 25-22.

Liana Fernandez paced Lincoln Leadership Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Fernandez got some help from Jade Rosario and her seven assists. Rosario also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Alana Smith, each putting up two.

Lincoln Leadership Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Antietam, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Lincoln Leadership Academy has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Weatherly on the 10th. Antietam does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
