Football Recap: Hoffman Estates Starts off Right with Win over Buffalo Grove

Hoffman Estates had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Buffalo Grove Bison 55-14. The Hawks pushed the score to 42-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bison had little chance of recovering from.

Landon Ford was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 187 yards and two scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Lezniak, who threw for 113 yards and three TDs on only nine passes.

Hoffman Estates didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 63-6 victory against Wheeling on the 5th. As for Buffalo Grove, they have also already played their next game, a 55-6 loss against Fremd on the 5th.
